Selena Gomez graduated high school twice, in reality and in a film. On Monday, May 10th, Selena’s Facebook status announced, “What are the odds……Today I graduated from high school and got my diploma!!!!! I also filmed my graduation ceremony in the upcoming movie Monte Carlo. So in a weird way I was able to experience an official graduation, LOL. How is everyone doing? What are your plans for the summer? Miss you all and I will update again soon.”

Selena, 17, is an actress on the hit Disney Channel original series Wizards of Waverly Place. She is also a pop rock singer with her band, Selena Gomez & The Scene, who will be on tour at the end of July. The pre-production movie Monte Carlo is about two college students and one recent high school graduate who are vacationing in Paris find themselves whisked away to Monte Carlo after one of the girls is mistaken for a British heiress. The upcoming movie will be filming in Monaco, Paris, and Budapest over the next few months and is set to be in theaters in 2011.
