Despite that their wedding was only in April, Tom Brady, the quarterback of the New England Patriots and supermodel Gisele Bündchen are expecting a child in December of 2009. Rumors began a few months ago about Gisele being pregnant, but it was unconfirmed by a primary source until now. Husband Tom Brady confirmed the pregnancy news in an interview with ESPN’s Chris Berman on Sunday September 13th, 2009. Brady said that he will be happy to attend Lamaze classes with his wife stating that, “It couldn’t be harder than training camp, so I’ll be prepared.” The newlyweds are expecting their first child together, even though Tom has a 2-year old son, John Edward Thomas with ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan.

On Sunday, September 13, 2009, The MTV Video Music Awards were held in Radio City Music Hall in New York. Taylor Swift, a 19-year old American country pop singer won her first MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video for “You Belong With Me”. During her acceptance speech, Kanye West went on stage and stole the microphone from Swift and said that Beyoncé Knowles video for “Single Ladies” was ”one of the best videos of all time”, implying that Beyoncé should have won this award and not Taylor Swift. Kanye gave the microphone back to Taylor, which resulted in booing from the audience, celebrities and fans alike. Taylor Swift left the stage without finishing her acceptance speech and Kanye West was escorted out of Radio City Music Hall for the night.

Later in the awards show, Beyoncé won the VMA for Best Video of the Year for “Single Ladies”. While accepting the Moonman, she invited Taylor Swift to the stage to finish her acceptance speech due to the interruption by Kanye West earlier in the awards show saying, “This is amazing. I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life, so I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.” Swift went on stage to finish her acceptance speech, hugged Beyoncé, and then the two winners left the stage together.

After the awards show Taylor Swift commented that, “I was standing on stage and I was really excited because I’d just won the award and then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t excited anymore after that.”

Many celebrities backed Taylor Swift and bashed Kanye West by tweeting about the incident, including Katy Perry, Pink, Donald Trump, P-Diddy, and many others.

Even though Kanye West apologized twice for his actions, the latter more sincere, we recommend that Taylor Swift should pick up a beautiful yellow sapphire and diamond pendant to help her  move on after the tirade.

Singer Céline Dion and her husband René Angelil are expecting their second child with the help of fertility doctors. After her concert tour ended in March, Céline took time off to concentrate on becoming a mother again. She reportedly visited Dr. Zev Rosenwaks, a fertility expert based in New York helped Céline with the birth of her first child, René-Charles in 2001, aided the 41-year-old express her desire for more children. Dr. Rosenwaks performed the in virtro fertilization procedure that made it possible for Dion to get pregnant with an embryo that was frozen for the past eight years. In a previous interview with The Journal, René Angelil commented that “everything hinges on the pregnancy” and that it could delay Céline’s scheduled concert tour in fall 2010 in Las Vegas. After much confusion and delay over the past year, model Heidi Klum will be returning to television as the host with a sixth season of “Project Runway”. For the past five seasons, “Project Runway” aired on NBC Universal’s Bravo network and took place in New York. Not anymore! The show’s producers, The Weinstein Company settled a lawsuit with NBC Universal and agreed to pay an undisclosed amount for the right to move their show to Lifetime. “Project Runway” didn’t only change their television station, but their on-set location to Los Angeles, from its previous location in New York.  Season six is set to premiere on Thursday, August 20, 2009 on Lifetime Television with guest judge, actress Nicole Kidman. This season will feature guest judges such as Christina Aguilera, Eva Longoria Parker, and Lindsay Lohan. Actress Alyssa Milano tied the knot to David Bugliari, an agent from Creative Artists Agency in a lavish ceremony at his family’s estate in Tewksbury, New Jersey over the weekend. She wore a custom wedding gown by Vera Wang and walked down the aisle carrying a bouquet of lily of the valley flowers, while John Lennon’s “Imagine” played in the background. Milano told People Magazine that, “We wanted a wedding that was reflective of who we are as a couple. My Italian family still eats Sunday dinner together every week. We wanted to capture the same feeling with people passing around beautiful bowls of food and talking and laughing.”  A friend of David’s, actor Bradley Cooper attended the wedding.
