Dennis Hopper was hospitalized earlier today, September 30, 2009, due to flu-like symptoms and was rushed to an unknown hospital in New York. His publicist, Sheila Feren stated that Dennis is suffering from a mere flu-like stomach virus. Dennis, 73, star of the Starz TV original series, Crash, was in New York to promote his role through scheduled interviews and appearances on The Today Show and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Dennis Hopper has received two Oscar nominations thus far, for Easy Rider and Hoosiers.
