The 29-year-old NHL Ottawa Senators ice-hockey player, Mike Fisher, reportedly proposed at his home Sunday afternoon and then sent messages to his friends with the good news later that evening. In an interview with Self Magazine on December 15th, only days before her engagement, Carrie disclosed that, “Not that I have a husband to have one with yet, but someday I’d like a family – not a big one, but not a small one either.” The 26-year-old country singer, Carrie Underwood is also know for winning the fourth season of FOX’s American Idol. The couple said to People Magazine that, “We’re both obviously excited and very happy.”
