Marilyn Manson, an American musician and artist, got engaged to on-again, off-again girlfriend of three years, actress Evan Rachel Wood. Manson is known for his controversial image; his heavy-metal band, Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, which its name was later changed to simply Marilyn Manson; and for his self-proclaimed art movement, Celebritarian Corporation. Evan Rachel Wood is an actress on the HBO sitcom, True Blood, which is currently in its second season.

Manson was previously married to Dita Von Teese, in a relationship with Michelle Greenberg, and engaged to actress Rose McGowan. He dated Wood in 2006, broke up in 2008, then rekindled their relationship and broke up again in 2009. After a few months of reconciling in 2009, Manson, 41, proposed to Wood, 22, while performing on stage in Paris last week.
