On October 28, 2009, many celebrities, including Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Neil Patrick Harris, Paula Abdul, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Ashley Tisdale attended the premiere screening of Michael Jackson’s posthumous movie, This Is It, at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California. Although last week the Jackson family reportedly stated that they will not attend the premiere, all of Michael’s brothers were present and received a standing ovation inside the theater before the film began. Michael’s sisters; his mother Katherine Jackson; Michael’s three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket; nor his father Joe Jackson were present at the premiere in Los Angeles. MJ’s father Joe Jackson actually attended the premiere in Las Vegas.

Michael Jackson’s This Is It movie, which was made by Sony Pictures, was released on October 28, 2009 and is already a big hit! The film already grossed $2 million on the midnight showtimes alone.
