Only a few hours after the pre-sale tickets were released for sale on Ticketmaster.com and FameKillsTour.com, Live Nation’s Fame Kills Tour was cancelled. The new concert tour starring Kanye West and Lady Gaga was scheduled to kick-off on November 10, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona and continue for three months until January 24, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Live Nation did not give a reason for the sudden cancellation, which gave the public a reason to think that Kanye’s infamous incident at the MTV VMA’s killed the tour. The tour was not disclosed until the day after the VMA’s, when Kanye appeared on the premiere of The Jay Leno Show. Lady Gaga, who had a big performance of her song “Paparazzi” at the VMA’s, stated on On-Air with Ryan Seacrest that, “We did not do this tour for each other. We did it for everybody else. Dennis Hopper was hospitalized earlier today, September 30, 2009, due to flu-like symptoms and was rushed to an unknown hospital in New York. His publicist, Sheila Feren stated that Dennis is suffering from a mere flu-like stomach virus. In 2007, paparazzi photographer Ricardo Mendoza’s foot was run over by Britney Spears‘ Mercedes-Benz, while she was pulling out of a medical center in Beverly Hills, California. In May 2009, Mendoza sued Britney for assault, battery, and negligence, but did not enumerate the cost of the damages. Socialite Khloé Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom are reportedly planning to get married in the near future.
