Natalie Portman is Pregnant and Engaged!!

Natalie Portman, 29, has announced her engagement to choreographer Benjamin Millepied and that they are expecting a child. Natalie and Benjamin met during the production of Black Swan, in which Natalie played the lead role of ballerina Nina Sayers in the ballet of “Swan Lake”. Her fiancé played the role of David, one of the male ballet dancers in the psychological thriller. Recently, Portman told Entertainment Weekly, “I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience.” This will be the first child and the first marriage for Portman. Natalie has received numerous nominations including a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe for her role in the film. Rumor has it that she may be nominated for an Academy Award as well, and is on the cover of EW’s Oscar Race issue.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Are Engaged!!

Nicole Richie and long-time boyfriend Joel Madden are engaged to be married. Joel, 30, is the lead vocalist of the band Good Charlotte. During a Monday taping of the Late Show with David Letterman, which aires on Friday, February 19th, she revealed her engagement and her custom-made diamond ring, which is estimated to be over four carats. A source told People Magazine, “Nicole wanted a beautiful, special ring and wanted to be intimately involved in the design.”

The couple began dating in 2006 and have been living together. They currently have two children, daughter Harlow, 2, and son Sparrow, 5 months. Lionel Richie, Nicole’s father, can’t wait to walk his daughter Nicole, 28, down the aisle. The legendary singer told People Magazine, “My happiness for Nicole and Joel knows no boundaries. They have given me two beautiful grandchildren, Harlow and Sparrow, and have proven to be great parents.” Lionel recently worked with the couple on “We Are The World: 25 For Haiti,” which he co-wrote and produced. He also co-wrote the original “We Are The World: USA For Africa” collaboration with the late Michael Jackson in 1985.

Penélope Cruz is Engaged to Javier Bardem

Online reports, including People Magazine are assuming that Actress Penélope Cruz, 35, and Actor Javier Bardem, 40, are engaged. Their assumption is based on the large and beautiful, blue natural sapphire and diamond sapphire ring that Penélope wore in New York on October 13, 2009, while attending the 47th Annual New York Film Festival.

The couple have been dating for two years, choosing to keep a low profile; they rarely attend award shows or walk red carpets together. They have worked together in the films Jamón, jamón (1992) and in Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). Neither Cruz’s nor Bardem’s reps confirmed the engagement. Cruz, 35, admits that she believes in “family, love, and children,” but not in marriage. In addition, she denied rumors that she is pregnant. In the Spanish edition of Marie Claire magazine in April 2007, Cruz stated that “Of course I want to have kids. I want to have my own kids, but also adopt. For a while I’ve had the feeling that my life wont be complete if I don’t adopt.”

Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom Reportedly Planning Marriage

Socialite Khloé Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom are reportedly planning to get married in the near future. The Kardashian family, who are known for their reality shows “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami”, have declined to comment on the issue. This would be the first marriage for both Khloé and Odom, even though Lamar has had three children with his ex-girlfriend, Liza Morales. Khloé seems to like dating NBA players. Her ex-boyfriend is Sacramento Kings guard Rashad McCants. McCants is currently a free-agent in the NBA.
